“Lord, we praise you, bless you, adore you, and glorify you” (July/August 2020, p. 61).

Holy Spirit, help me to bear fruit not just for myself but for others, too (p. 62).

Father, thank you for sending me you word.  Help me to read it daily so that it’s etched on my heart (p. 63).

“Lord, help me to remember that I never pray alone but with all your saints in heaven and on earth” (p. 64).

Merciful God, I praise you for your compassion and mercy.  Thank you for forgiving me completely (p. 65).

“Father, I praise you for your unending faithfulness to me” (p. 66).

“Mary, pray that more and more people will turn to the Holy Spirit as you did” (p. 67).

August 2 – 8, 2020: 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Jesus, may I never be separated from your love” (July/August 2020, p. 54).

Lord, I want to be at peace.  Help me to turn to you more deeply so that I can experience even more freedom (p. 55).

Holy Spirit, help me to be attentive to my words and thoughts.  May they always be pleasing to you (p. 56).

“Jesus, help me see people the way you see them” (p. 57).

“Jesus, help me to see your glory today” (p. 58).

Jesus, I believe that you have conquered every enemy that rises up against me.  Help me to love you and trust you (p. 59).

“Here I am, Lord, ready to pour out my heart to you” (p. 60).

July 26 – August 1, 2020: 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Lord, help me to see you as a priceless pearl worth everything in my life” (July/August 2020, p. 47).

“Father, help me to tune out the clamor of birds today so that I might see the vastness of your kingdom and rejoice in it” (p. 48).

“Holy Spirit, help me water the seeds you have planted in me” (p. 49).

“Jesus, I want to grow in my faith” (p. 50).

Divine Potter, I surrender to you.  Mold me however you desire (p. 51).

Lord, I need your love and your grace today.  Keep me steady (p. 52).

“Lord, show me how I can point people to you today” (p. 53).

 July 19 – 25, 2020: 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Lord, may your kingdom come” (July/August 2020, p. 40).

Lord, I want to get back to basics.  You have shown me what is good.  Help me to love better this week (p. 41).

Lord, I place all my hope in you.  I believe that you are leading me to goodness beyond my imagining (p. 42).

“Lord, may you always be the center of my life” (p. 43).

Here I am, Lord.  Teach me how to be your ambassador to the people around me.  Help me to show them your humility, your mercy, and your love (p. 44).

“Lord, help me grow into the person that you know I can become” (p. 45).

“May I learn to be more like Jesus” (p. 46).

July 12 – 18, 2020: 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thank you, Jesus, for sowing your word into my heart.  Help me to nurture it so that I can become more like you (July/August 2020, p. 33).

“Lord Jesus, help me to take up my cross and follow after you today with a heart full of love” (p. 34).

“Jesus, make my faith firm so that I can become a peacemaker like you” (p. 35).

“Jesus teach me to be childlike so I can trust in God the Father” (p. 36).

Lord, I accept your invitation to come and spend time with you.  I believe that being with you can ease my burdens and bring me rest (p. 37).

Holy Spirit, I don’t want to miss your signs today.  Help me to stay alert so that I can hear you and see your work in my life (p. 38).

“Jesus, heal my bruises and fan my smoldering wick into flame” (p. 39).

July 5 – 11, 2020: 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“All praise to you, Jesus, for setting me free” (July/August 2020, p. 26).

“Lord, I believe that every situation is an opportunity to grow closer to you, so help me to trust in your during desert times” (p. 27).

Jesus, thank you for the needs you are laying on my heart.  Help me find the courage to take action as well (p. 28).

“Lord, show me how to place you above all else in my life” (p. 29).

Jesus, your love can’t be explained in human terms.  Thank you for embracing me (p. 30).

Father, thank you for making me a new creation.  Give me the courage to share your good news (p. 31).

Here I am, Lord.  Send me (p. 32).

June 28 – July 4, 2020: 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Holy Spirit, help me to hear you speaking through the people you will place in my path today” (June 2020, p. 49).

“Lord, give me the grace to surrender my life to you” (p. 50).

“Lord, by your steadfast love I will enter your presence today” (p. 51).

“Lord, let your love for the poor surge within me” (July/August 2020, p. 22).

Lord, I trust that you will give me all that I need to serve you” (p. 23).

“Thank you, Jesus, for humbling yourself so much just to save me” (p. 24).

Jesus, I believe you are always with me.  Help me to cast aside all gloominess and find joy in your presence (p. 25).

June 21 – 27, 2020: 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Lord, teach me how to love even those who make my life difficult” (June 2020, p. 42).

“Lord, help me to see myself and each person I meet in the light of your truth and the fullness of your mercy” (p. 43).

Lord, I want to set down my bags today.  Help me to trust your Holy Spirit to lead me through the narrow gate (p. 44).

“St. John the Baptist, pray for me to fulfill my mission in life” (p. 45).

“Lord, pour out your Spirit on the young people in my life” (p. 46).

Heal me, Lord.  Help me to believe that I am worthy of your love (p. 47).

Jesus, I am so very grateful for your willingness to come into my heart.  Thank you (p. 48).

June 14 – 20, 2020: Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ

Father, I bring my needs to you today.  I trust in your goodness.  Your will be done (June 2020, p. 39).

June 7 – 13, 2020: Most Holy Trinity

“Lord, help me to live every day in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (June 2020, p. 28).

Lord, I believe that you want to help me overcome the mountains I face.  Help me today to hear and obey you as you come to my aid (p. 29).

“Lord, teach me how to awaken thirst for you in the people all around me” (p. 30).

“Lord, I pray boldly that you reveal yourself to my loved ones” (p. 31).

“Jesus, thank you for giving me a calling and the grace to see it through” (p. 32).

Holy Spirit, open the ears of my heart.  Teach me to hear you clearly so that I can follow your plan for my life (p. 33).

“You are my inheritance, O God” (p. 34).

“Holy Spirit, make your home in my heart always” (Easter 2020, p. 69).

Father, thank you for making Mary the mother of the Church.  Help me to learn from her example and to receive the blessings of her intercession (June 2020, p. 22).

“Jesus, teach me how to rely on you as I try to steer clear of anything that could mar my soul or damage my spirit” (p. 23).

“Jesus, thank you for your gifts through the Holy Spirit” (p. 24).

“Yes, Lord, may the word of God go forth from me” (p. 25).

Lord, I want to know you.  Reveal more of yourself to me (p. 26).

Jesus, I trust in you.  Help me to become as generous as you are with me (p. 27).

Come, Holy Spirit, and fill our hearts.  Empower us to build a kingdom worthy of the risen Lord (Easter 2020, p. 62).

“Jesus, prince of peace, reign in my thoughts and emotions today no matter what situations I face” (p. 63).

“Holy Spirit, pour out your power and strength on me so that I may accomplish more than I can ask or imagine” (p. 64).

Thank you, Father, for your love and care.  Holy Spirit, help me to grow in knowledge of God’s love, protection, and plans for me (p. 65).

“Lord, make us one” (p. 66).

“Jesus, open my eyes to see the work you have already done in my life” (p. 67).

“Open my eyes, Lord, to the opportunities that you have set before me” (p. 68).

Lord, you are worthy of all praise.  Help me practice praising you at every moment and in every situation (p. 57).

“Lord, help me be understanding of others” (p. 58).

Come, Holy Spirit.  Open the eyes of my heart (p. 59).

“Father, I long for the day when you will bring all of us together again” (p. 60).

“Father, help me understand your word” (p. 61).

Jesus, help me trust that you are with me always.  Lord, calm all my fears (Easter 2020, p. 48).

Holy Spirit, I want more of you (p. 49).

Thank you, Jesus, for overcoming the evil one.  Help me stay faithful to you (p. 50).

Jesus, you are the vine; I am the branch.  May I always be united with you (p. 51).

“St. Matthias, pray for me to have the grace and courage to follow Jesus with all my heart” (p. 52).

“Jesus, help me to love other people the way you love me” (p. 53).

“Holy Spirit, I will trust in you even when I don’t understand” (p. 54).

“Holy Spirit, show us how we can share God’s love with the world” (p. 44).

“Lord, sew your love into my heart so I can walk in faith and confidence” (p. 46).

“Jesus, I am astounded at your love and generosity toward me” (Easter 2020, p. 34).

“Lord, help me run the good race” (p. 35).

Jesus, help me to forgive anyone who has wronged me.  Lord, I want to be filled with Easter joy (p. 36).

“Lord, give me a humble heart that accepts and trusts your word” (p. 37).

“Lord Jesus, thank you for becoming living bread for me” (p. 38).

Jesus, I give you my life again today.  Fill me with your grace so that I can follow you faithfully (p. 39).

Come, Holy Spirit.  Teach me the meaning of Jesus’s words and help me to say yes to him today (p. 40).

April 19 – 25, 2020: 2nd Sunday of Easter / Divine Mercy Sunday

“Jesus, I trust in you” (Easter 2020, p. 27).

“Thank you, Holy Spirit, for coming to live in my heart” (p. 28).

Father, I believe you are always speaking.  Help me to hear your voice today (p. 29).

Praise to you, Lord, for the way you love each and every person you have made!  Help me to receive all the love you have for me (p. 30).

“Come, Holy Spirit, and fill me with love and boldness to share about Jesus with the people I meet” (p. 31).

Lord, help me trust that you know what you’re doing.  I want to be part of your plan for this world (p. 32).

“St. Mark, pray that I might find creative ways to share the gospel” (p. 33).

April 12 – 18, 2020: Easter Sunday

Lord, I don’t want to be satisfied with just hearing about you.  On this day above all others, let me meet you (Easter 2020, p. 20).

Father, you are looking for people to send out as witnesses to your Son.  Here I am, Lord.  Send me (p. 21).

Jesus, you heard and responded to Mary Magdalene’s weeping.  Hear and respond to the cries of my heart today (p. 22).

Jesus, thank you for the vast inheritance you have given me.  Show me how to share this wealth with other people today (p. 23).

Thank you, Lord, for not condemning me for my doubts.  Send your Spirit of peace where there is confusion.  May your perfect love for me cast out every fear in my heart (p. 24).

Jesus, thank you for remaining close to me.  Lord, help me to see you everywhere I go (p. 25).

“Holy Spirit, give me the courage to share all you have done for me” (p. 26).

April 5 – 11, 2020: Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord

“Blessed are you, Jesus, for coming to set us free” (Advent 2020, p. 61).

Jesus, you are God’s perfect servant.  Help me to stay close to you this whole week (p. 62).

Lord, thank you for never giving up on me.  Help me to never give up on you (p. 63).

Jesus, surely it is I who have sinned against you.  Forgive me and show me the way forward today (p. 64).

Lord, thank you for offering me a whole new life with you.  Teach me how to love and serve as fully as you have done (p. 65).

“Jesus, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for dying on the cross for me” (p. 66).

“Father, illuminate your Church and illuminate me by your word” (p. 67).

March 29 – April 4, 2020: 5th Sunday of Lent

Jesus, I hear you calling.  Help me overcome my sins (Lent 2020, p. 54).

“Help me, Lord, to recognize your goodness and kindness in my life today” (p. 55).

“Father, I believe that you are with me as I do the work you have sent me to do” (p. 56).

“Lord, thank you for being with me, even when all I feel is the heat of adversity” (p. 57).

“Thank you, Lord, that your faithfulness lasts forever” (p. 58).

Jesus, you bring miracles to life around me.  Open my eyes to see your works and believe in you (p. 59).

Holy Spirit, open my heart to Jesus this week.  Give me a humble heart and a willingness to have my expectations stretched (p. 60).

Jesus, open my eyes!  Help me to see as you see (Lent 2020, p. 47).

“Father, help me to see the new life that you are producing in me” (p. 48).

“Jesus, help me to be open to the healing you want to do in my life” (p. 49).

“Lord, thank you for giving me the grace to say yes to your will for me” (p. 50).

“Father, I believe that I am who you say I am” (p. 51).

“Father, help me to live out my identity in you” (p. 52).

“Come, Holy Spirit, and speak God’s word to my heart” (p. 53).

March 15 – 21, 2020: 3rd Sunday of Lent

“Jesus, may I thirst for you as you thirst for me” (Lent 2020, p. 40).

Lord, I trust you.  Help me turn my trust into action (p. 41).

“Lord, help me forgive as you have forgiven me” (p. 42).

“Jesus, thank you for patiently teaching me how to love” (p. 43).

St. Joseph, thank you for your example of quiet strength.  Help me to be like you (p. 44).

“Lord Jesus, may each sacrifice I make increase my love for you and for your people” (p. 45).

O God, have mercy on me, a sinner.  Help me to love you in my neighbor today (p. 46).

“Lord, I love you and want to make time for you every day” (Lent 2020, p. 33).

Lord, help me to empty myself by giving so that you can fill me.  Let your life in me overflow (p. 34).

“Lord, how would you like me to set things right?” (p. 35).

“Lord, how can I love your people today through service?” (p. 36).

“Jesus, help me to see you and love you in the distressing disguise of the poor” (p. 37).

Jesus, you are Lord of history.  Thank you for opening my eyes to your wonderful plan of salvation (p. 38).

Thank you, Lord, for your endless mercy toward me.  Show me how to make my way back to you (p. 39).

“Lord, strengthen me with your grace this Lent so that I can overcome any temptations” (Lent 2020, p. 26).

“Jesus, help me to see you in every person I meet” (p. 27).

Jesus, thank you for teaching me to pray with simplicity.  Help me to follow your example (p. 28).

“Lord, give me the humility to reach out to my brothers and sisters for help and encouragement” (p. 29).

Lord, you always hear my prayer.  Help me to draw on your strength to make things better (p. 30).

“Come, Holy Spirit, and burn away all bitterness in the fire of your love” (p. 31).

“Jesus, help me to respond to my enemies with prayer” (p. 32).

“Lord, when I’m tempted to sin, give me the grace to grow in virtue instead” (p. 33).

“Jesus, help me to take those first steps in faith, confident that you will carry me the rest of the way” (p. 34).

Jesus, I offer you my life and the gifts you have given me.  I trust you to multiply all my efforts to serve you (p. 36).

Master, my eyes have seen your salvation.  I surrender myself to you (February 1-25, 2020; p. 23).

“Jesus, give me greater confidence in your power to defeat sin and the devil” (p. 24).

Jesus, you were well acquainted with the grief that weighs me down.  Help me to join my tears with yours (p. 25).

“Lord Jesus, help me to listen to you and be healed” (p. 26).

Jesus, sit on the throne of my life.  Help me to trust you more each day (p. 27).

“Lord Jesus, thank you for forgiving me and welcoming me back” (p. 28).

Jesus, thank you for calling me to belong to your family.  Help me to love and joyfully serve my brothers and sisters in Christ (p. 49).

“Thank you, Holy Spirit, for opening my heart and mind to God’s holy word” (p. 50).

“Father, help me to recognize my gifts and use them for your glory” (p. 51).

Holy Spirit, give me a repentant heart.  Help me to confess my sin and seek reconciliation and healing (p. 52).
