Thank you, Jesus, for inviting me to your banquet.  Help me choose to live for you this day (October 2020, p. 32).

Father, I turn every uncertainty in my life over to you.  Teach me how to live in faith and confidence in you (p. 33).

“Father, thank you for freeing me to live in a way that pleases you” (p. 34).

“Holy Spirit, thank you for the water, light, and heart in my life as you cultivate your fruit in me” (p. 35).

Father, thank you for adopting me into your family.  Help me to embrace this new life you have given me (p. 36).

“Jesus, thank you for not only listening to me, but also for understanding me and ministering to my deepest needs” (p. 51).

Lord, I need you.  Help me to remember how much you want to give me each day (p. 23).

“Father, I praise you for your mercy which knows no bounds” (September 2020, p. 41).

“Father, let the wideness of your mercy unite us to the people around us” (p. 42).

“Lord, thank you for making me part of your family” (p. 43).

Honestly, Lord, I’m not quite ready to “take nothing.”  How about this: I would like to take your hand and let you lead me (p. 44).

All things pass, but God remains.  He who has God lacks nothing.  God alone is enough (p. 45).

“Lord, thank you for being my stronghold during life’s ups and downs” (p. 46).

“Jesus, I trust in you” (p. 47).

September 13 – 19, 2020: 24th week in Ordinary Time

Father, help me to let go of wrath and anger.  I don’t want to refuse mercy to anyone.  Teach me how to forgive (September 2020, p. 34).

Lord, today I lift high your cross over every struggle.  Strengthen my faith, my love, and my obedience (p. 35).

“Holy Mary, mother of God, accompany me in my sufferings and help me to be more like you” (p. 36).

“Lord, shower me with your perfect love so that I can learn how to love perfectly” (p. 37).

Jesus, help me to see how holy you are.  Despite my sins, I love you, Lord (p. 38).

“Jesus, bring your resurrection power to every aspect of my life and all the concerns on my heart” (p. 39).

Father, continue to sow the seeds of your word in my life.  Improve the soil of my heart so that I can bear fruit for you (p. 40).

Lord, help me to watch over my family.  I trust in your protection (p. 27).

“Father, help me to follow your leading” (p. 28).

Thank you, Lord, for the beauty of your plan.  I trust in your wisdom and in the way you are forming me (p. 29).

“Holy Spirit, line up my views on life, wealth, and trust in God with the Father’s perspective” (p. 30).

“Jesus, help me to forgive from the heart and to love those hardest to love” (p. 31).

“Lord, open my eyes so that I can follow you and be an example for others” (p. 32).

“Jesus, help me to stay firmly connected to you” (p. 33).

Lord, I don’t want to keep you at a distance.  Teach me how to give of myself as you did (July/August 2020, p. 82).

“Jesus, teach me how to be simple like you” (p. 83).

“Holy Spirit, fill me with your heavenly wisdom” (September 2020, p. 22).

“Jesus, teach me how to balance the needs of people with my need to spend time with you” (p. 23).

“Thank you, Jesus, for looking past my failings and pointing me toward your perfect plan” (p. 24).

“Lord Jesus, help me recognize your new wine in my life” (p. 25).

Thank you, Jesus, for your work in the lives of your servants, my brothers and sisters.  Help me to see you in them and to treasure each of them (p. 26).

Lord, let me meet you today.  Shake up my expectations and help me to follow you more fully (p. 76).

“Holy Spirit, shine your light into my cup today and show me where and how to start cleaning” (p. 77).

“Lord, help me focus on your promises as I do your work on earth” (p. 78).

“Thank you, God, for your call, for your grace, and for promising to keep me firm to the end” (p. 79).

Father, thank you for sending me you word.  Help me to read it daily so that it’s etched on my heart (p. 63).

“Lord, help me to remember that I never pray alone but with all your saints in heaven and on earth” (p. 64).

Merciful God, I praise you for your compassion and mercy.  Thank you for forgiving me completely (p. 65).

“Father, I praise you for your unending faithfulness to me” (p. 66).

“Mary, pray that more and more people will turn to the Holy Spirit as you did” (p. 67).

Lord, I want to be at peace.  Help me to turn to you more deeply so that I can experience even more freedom (p. 55).

Holy Spirit, help me to be attentive to my words and thoughts.  May they always be pleasing to you (p. 56).

Jesus, I believe that you have conquered every enemy that rises up against me.  Help me to love you and trust you (p. 59).

Lord, I want to get back to basics.  You have shown me what is good.  Help me to love better this week (p. 41).

Lord, I place all my hope in you.  I believe that you are leading me to goodness beyond my imagining (p. 42).

“Lord, may you always be the center of my life” (p. 43).

Here I am, Lord.  Teach me how to be your ambassador to the people around me.  Help me to show them your humility, your mercy, and your love (p. 44).

“Lord, help me grow into the person that you know I can become” (p. 45).

“May I learn to be more like Jesus” (p. 46).

July 12 – 18, 2020: 15th week in Ordinary Time

Thank you, Jesus, for sowing your word into my heart.  Help me to nurture it so that I can become more like you (July/August 2020, p. 33).

“Lord Jesus, help me to take up my cross and follow after you today with a heart full of love” (p. 34).

“Jesus, make my faith firm so that I can become a peacemaker like you” (p. 35).

“Jesus teach me to be childlike so I can trust in God the Father” (p. 36).

Lord, I accept your invitation to come and spend time with you.  I believe that being with you can ease my burdens and bring me rest (p. 37).

Holy Spirit, I don’t want to miss your signs today.  Help me to stay alert so that I can hear you and see your work in my life (p. 38).

“Jesus, heal my bruises and fan my smoldering wick into flame” (p. 39).

“All praise to you, Jesus, for setting me free” (July/August 2020, p. 26).

“Lord, I believe that every situation is an opportunity to grow closer to you, so help me to trust in your during desert times” (p. 27).

Jesus, thank you for the needs you are laying on my heart.  Help me find the courage to take action as well (p. 28).

“Lord, show me how to place you above all else in my life” (p. 29).

Jesus, your love can’t be explained in human terms.  Thank you for embracing me (p. 30).

Father, thank you for making me a new creation.  Give me the courage to share your good news (p. 31).

“Holy Spirit, help me to hear you speaking through the people you will place in my path today” (June 2020, p. 49).

“Lord, by your steadfast love I will enter your presence today” (p. 51).

“Lord, let your love for the poor surge within me” (July/August 2020, p. 22).

Lord, I trust that you will give me all that I need to serve you” (p. 23).

“Thank you, Jesus, for humbling yourself so much just to save me” (p. 24).

Jesus, I believe you are always with me.  Help me to cast aside all gloominess and find joy in your presence (p. 25).

Lord, I want to set down my bags today.  Help me to trust your Holy Spirit to lead me through the narrow gate (p. 44).

“St. John the Baptist, pray for me to fulfill my mission in life” (p. 45).

“Lord, pour out your Spirit on the young people in my life” (p. 46).

Heal me, Lord.  Help me to believe that I am worthy of your love (p. 47).

Jesus, I am so very grateful for your willingness to come into my heart.  Thank you (p. 48).

“Jesus, thank you for the life you give me in the holy Eucharist” (June 2020, p. 35).

“Jesus, help me to let go and let God” (p. 36).

“Jesus, I trust that you are leading me to wholeness and holiness” (p. 37).

“Thank you, Jesus, for paving the way for me to share in your inheritance” (p. 38).

Father, I bring my needs to you today.  I trust in your goodness.  Your will be done (p. 39).

Come, Holy Spirit, and draw me closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Fill me with a burning desire to love others in my life’s journey (p. 40).

“Holy Mary, may I have a heart as pure as yours” (p. 41).

“Lord, help me to live every day in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (June 2020, p. 28).

Lord, I believe that you want to help me overcome the mountains I face.  Help me today to hear and obey you as you come to my aid (p. 29).

“Lord, teach me how to awaken thirst for you in the people all around me” (p. 30).

“Jesus, thank you for giving me a calling and the grace to see it through” (p. 32).

Father, thank you for making Mary the mother of the Church.  Help me to learn from her example and to receive the blessings of her intercession (June 2020, p. 22).

“Jesus, teach me how to rely on you as I try to steer clear of anything that could mar my soul or damage my spirit” (p. 23).

“Jesus, thank you for your gifts through the Holy Spirit” (p. 24).

“Yes, Lord, may the word of God go forth from me” (p. 25).

Lord, I want to know you.  Reveal more of yourself to me (p. 26).

Jesus, I trust in you.  Help me to become as generous as you are with me (p. 27).

Come, Holy Spirit, and fill our hearts.  Empower us to build a kingdom worthy of the risen Lord (Easter 2020, p. 62).

“Holy Spirit, pour out your power and strength on me so that I may accomplish more than I can ask or imagine” (p. 64).

Father, I believe you are always speaking.  Help me to hear your voice today (p. 29).

Praise to you, Lord, for the way you love each and every person you have made!  Help me to receive all the love you have for me (p. 30).

“Come, Holy Spirit, and fill me with love and boldness to share about Jesus with the people I meet” (p. 31).

Lord, help me trust that you know what you’re doing.  I want to be part of your plan for this world (p. 32).

Lord, I don’t want to be satisfied with just hearing about you.  On this day above all others, let me meet you (Easter 2020, p. 20).

Father, you are looking for people to send out as witnesses to your Son.  Here I am, Lord.  Send me (p. 21).

Jesus, you heard and responded to Mary Magdalene’s weeping.  Hear and respond to the cries of my heart today (p. 22).

Jesus, thank you for the vast inheritance you have given me.  Show me how to share this wealth with other people today (p. 23).

Thank you, Lord, for not condemning me for my doubts.  Send your Spirit of peace where there is confusion.  May your perfect love for me cast out every fear in my heart (p. 24).

Jesus, thank you for remaining close to me.  Lord, help me to see you everywhere I go (p. 25).

“Holy Spirit, give me the courage to share all you have done for me” (p. 26).

“Lord, thank you for being with me, even when all I feel is the heat of adversity” (p. 57).

Jesus, you bring miracles to life around me.  Open my eyes to see your works and believe in you (p. 59).

Holy Spirit, open my heart to Jesus this week.  Give me a humble heart and a willingness to have my expectations stretched (p. 60).

“Jesus, may I thirst for you as you thirst for me” (Lent 2020, p. 40).

“Jesus, thank you for patiently teaching me how to love” (p. 43).

“Lord, I love you and want to make time for you every day” (Lent 2020, p. 33).

Lord, help me to empty myself by giving so that you can fill me.  Let your life in me overflow (p. 34).

“Lord, how would you like me to set things right?” (p. 35).

“Lord, how can I love your people today through service?” (p. 36).

“Jesus, help me to see you and love you in the distressing disguise of the poor” (p. 37).

Jesus, you are Lord of history.  Thank you for opening my eyes to your wonderful plan of salvation (p. 38).

Thank you, Lord, for your endless mercy toward me.  Show me how to make my way back to you (p. 39).

“Lord, strengthen me with your grace this Lent so that I can overcome any temptations” (Lent 2020, p. 26).

Jesus, thank you for teaching me to pray with simplicity.  Help me to follow your example (p. 28).

“Lord, give me the humility to reach out to my brothers and sisters for help and encouragement” (p. 29).

Lord, you always hear my prayer.  Help me to draw on your strength to make things better (p. 30).

“Come, Holy Spirit, and burn away all bitterness in the fire of your love” (p. 31).

“Jesus, help me to respond to my enemies with prayer” (p. 32).

“Lord, when I’m tempted to sin, give me the grace to grow in virtue instead” (p. 33).

“Jesus, help me to take those first steps in faith, confident that you will carry me the rest of the way” (p. 34).

“All praise to you, Lord, for your love endures forever” (p. 35).

Jesus, I offer you my life and the gifts you have given me.  I trust you to multiply all my efforts to serve you (p. 36).

Master, my eyes have seen your salvation.  I surrender myself to you (February 1-25, 2020; p. 23).

Jesus, you were well acquainted with the grief that weighs me down.  Help me to join my tears with yours (p. 25).
