Resaca de la Palma – Brownsville – 7.11.18

Steven and I so thoroughly enjoyed the riparian evaluation training we received in Corpus Christi, 10.19.17, that we invited Michael D. Jones, Water Resource Specialist with the Texas Stream Team (TST) at the Meadows Institute in San Marcos, to provide a four-hour training session to Texas Master Naturalists and community members at Resaca de la Palma.  Thanks, Michael!

A heartfelt thanks goes to our three terrific collaborators!  Stacey Haddad, TST trainer whom we met through the water monitoring certification program last year, assisted Michael.  Melissa Jones, PhD and Kelly Cummins— both with Texas Parks & Wildlife— reserved the meeting room, operated the trams, answered questions about the park, and had us in stitches with humorous renditions of their everyday adventures.

Thanks, everyone, for sharing in this fun, worthwhile experience!
