Every day at dawn, God sends two angels to earth.
Two baskets
One angel holds a basket for petitions; the other, for thanksgiving and praise.
At dusk, the two angels return home to heaven.
Petitions or praise?
Which basket do you think is fuller at day’s end?
All the difference
Don Gossett (1974) tells us that we always ask and ask without thinking to thank and praise. It’s that small change in one’s mindset that makes all the difference.
“When we praise the Lord, THEN increase, abundance, provisions come and God shall bless us” (p. 43).

Do you know what? I love angels. These are very beautiful.
Maybe you would see our 100 angels’ church
I hope that you like it.
Happy weekend!
Oh, my goodness! I sure did!
Thanks for your thoughtfulness… and for your very unique photos!
I’ve loved the two angels at Immaculate Conception Cathedral since I was five years old. So, of course, I wrote a poem about/to them in Angels keeping watch.
But the angels that truly blew me away were those at Sacred Heart Church in Nacogdoches, TX; so I included them in Right at home ’cause the altar can be viewed from the church in front of the altar as well as from the chapel behind the altar. Spectacular!
Again… thanks so very much for all your gorgeous photos. I’ve especially enjoyed that your posts have a combination of photos past and present from the same place. Terrific idea!
